SEATTLE - For the 11th time in the past 13 years, and the fourth year in a row, the Husky volleyball team finished the season ranked in the top-10 of the AVCA Coaches Poll. Washington came in ranked sixth in the final poll released this week after the conclusion of the NCAA Championships.
The Huskies ended the season with a 31-3 record, reaching the Elite Eight before falling to eventual NCAA Champion Nebraska. The Cornhuskers ended the year ranked No. 1, followed by No. 2 Texas, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 4 Kansas, and No. 5 USC.
This is the 207th consecutive rankings period that the Huskies have been ranked in the top-25 going all the way back to 2003, and the 61st straight poll that UW has been in the top-10, dating back to early September 2012.
