Pac-10 All-Freshman team selection ... honorable mention All-Pac-10 pick as a pitcher ... finished the season with a 17-16 record, a 1.93 ERA and 262 strikeouts in 224.2 innings of work ... her 262 striketouts is the fifth-best single-season mark in UW history ... held opponents to a .203 batting average ... hurled 22 complete games and five shutouts ... made 40 appearances in the circle, including 29 starts ... also made three starts as the DP ... had nine games with at least 10 Ks, and 16 games with at least eight Ks ... ranked in the Top 10 of the Pac-10 in opposing batting average, innings pitched, strikeouts, batters struck out looking and wins ... her 49 batters struck out looking in Pac-10 play led the conference ... finished fourth in the conference in Ks in Pac-10 only games with 136 ... named to the all-tournament team at the Husky Softball Classic ... earned Most Valuable Pitcher honors at the Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament in Hawaii after pitching the Huskies to the title ... in just her second appearance, threw a no-hit shutout in a five-inning win over UMKC (Feb. 15), striking out 11 ... came on in relief against No. 3 Texas A&M (Feb. 17), striking out 10 and allowing just one hit in five innings ... pitched the UW to a win over No. 1 Alabama (Mar. 1), scattering four hits, allowing two unearned runs and striking out 11 in six innings ... threw a shutout against Nevada (Mar. 2), giving up six hits and striking out eight ... also on Mar. 2, struck out 10 in eight innings vs. Portland State ... struck out nine and gave up only four hits in a complete-game shutout of Eastern Kentucky on Mar. 7 ... pitched a complete-game in a win over No. 15 Hawaii (Mar. 8), giving up just four hits ... defeated Southern Illinois and Hawaii the next day to lead the UW to the title at the Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament ... struck out a career-high 12 in a nine-inning win over Florida State on Mar. 21 ... struck out 10 on back-to-back days against Oregon State (Mar. 29-30) ... also picked up her first career hit in her first collegiate at-bat in the Mar. 29 game ... struck out nine and gave up four hits and one run in a complete-game win over California (Apr. 4) ... struck out 12, giving up four hits and one run against Stanford the next day ... threw a complete-game shutout against top-ranked Arizona State (Apr. 13) in Tempe, handing the Sun Devils their first Pac-10 loss and just their third loss overall ... matched her career-high with 12 strikeouts and allowed just three hits in a 5-2 win at Oregon on May 9 ... pitched four innings of hitless relief and earned the win against Texas in the opener of the NCAA Regional on May 16 ... came on in relief against the Longhorns the next day, pitching three innings of hitless ball ... earned the save in the game, which was the first of the season by a UW pitcher.

A three-time team MVP and a two-time team Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year at Upland HS ... as a senior, an All-CIF pick, Baseline League MVP, named Daily Bulletin Female Player of the Year and won the Quakes High School Female Player of the Year award, which is presented by the local minor league baseball team, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes ... four-time All-Baseline League selection ... pitched six consecutive no-hitters and one perfect game as a senior ... played summer ball for the Corona Angels for three seasons under head coach Marty Tyson, father of ex-Husky standout Dena Tyson ... helped the Angels to a fifth-place finish at the ASA 18-Under Gold Nationals in both 2005 and 2007 ... played for the ASA National title three times, winning the 12-Under championship in 2002 with Minors Gold, placing second in the 14-Under division in 2004 with Minors Gold, and taking second in the 10-Under group in 2000 with the Angels... served as an athletic trainer at UHS ... was a member of the dance team and Black Student Union.
