Huskies Earn Some Hardware in San Diego
The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.

Rowing Honors & Awards: Rowed with the New Zealand national team in 2009.
Husky Rowing Experience:
2013 (Junior) - Rowed three seat for the 2V8 that took home bronze at the Pac-12 Championships...Rowed bow for the winning V4+ at the Windermere Cup Regatta...Rowed four seat for the V4 at the WSU Dual...Rowed bow for the winning junior class in the Seattle Times' Women's Eight at the Class Day Regatta ...Stroked for the 4+ who placed third in the Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.2012 (Sophomore: Red Shirt) -Sat out the 2012 season after a reoccurring back injury... 2011 (Freshman) - Stroked the varsity eight at both the NCAA Championships and the Pac-10 Championships. Stroked the victorious senior class in the 2011 Class Day Regatta. Stroked the victorious women's varsity eight in the Women's Windermere Cup, defeating Oklahoma and Cambridge.
