Miguel High School record in the triple jump (49-7) and the long jump (23-6)... Was team MVP as a senior, a year in which he also earned district and school athlete of the year accolades and was named all-conference, all-league and all-state... Was undefeated in the conference in the triple jump both his junior and senior campaigns, was undefeated in the high jump his junior season...
