Year elected to Husky Hall of Fame: 1980
Was a member of the track and field team from 1926-28. Set 1927 NCAA shot put record and won four AAu titles; competed in 1928 Olympic Games, winning silver medal in shot put; All-Coast tackle in football and later starred in various movie roles, including Tarzan.
