Headed the men's basketball team from 1972-85. Completed 40 years of coaching as seventh-winningest coach in game's history; career as UW 642-448 record; directed Huskies to four 20-win seasons, with five Husky teams competing in post-season play (three trips to NCAA in 1976, 1984, and 1985 and two invitations to NIT in 1980 and 1982).
