Year elected to Husky Hall of Fame: 2001
Played basketball from 1984 to 1987. One of the few four-year starters and the all-time scoring leaders. He led the UW to back-to-back Pac-10 titles and three straight NCAA tournament appearances. Welp broke Bob Houbreg's 34-year-old Husky career scoring record during his senior season.
