Meet Tori Burns, Tessa Vollrath, Charlee Garcia and Kate Bennett.
High School/Club: Four-year letterwinner and team captain her senior season at Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, Calif. ... Named First-Team All-League her sophomore year and Second-Team her junior season... Former teammate of current Huskies Christina and Chelsea Archer... Played for the Mustang Soccer Club team in Danville, Calif., for two years and the Bay Oaks Soccer Club team in Alameda, Calif., for four years... Club team won the 2010 Surf Cup in San Diego, the 2011 Cal North Championship in Sacramento, and the 2011 US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals in Boise... Finished fourth in the 2011 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Phoenix, Ariz. ... Also lettered in golf her freshman year, earning First-Team All-League honors... Also a National Hispanic Scholar and a Junior Black Belt in Karate.
Coach Gallimore on Burns: "Tori is a very competitive and hard working goalkeeper. She will benefit greatly from training with associate head coach Amy Griffin, as well as competing with our current goalkeepers Kari Davidson and Megan Kufeld. Based on her work ethic and passion, Tori's rate of improvement in this environment will be rapid."
