Huskies Eighth At Lady Gator Invitational

GAINSVILLE, Flor. -- Molly Aronsson's two-round, 6-over performance has the Huskies sitting in eighth place after the first day of the Lady Gator Invitational on Monday.
Aronsson shot a 74-72 145 on the par 70 course. Tied at the top of the team leader board is Duke and Alabama, which each turned in a 603. The individual leaders are Kathleen Ekay of Alabama and Whitney Wenglasz of Florida State, who are each 4-over. The Huskies finished the day with a 306-305-611 as a team.
Freshman Sadena Parks followed Aronsson for the University of Washington women's golf team with a 78-78=156 and a tie for 33rd. Parks was in front of Christina Yoon (82-76-158), Karinn Dickinson (75-86-161) and Anya Alvarez (82-88-170). The Dawgs are right in the middle of the 16-team field, with the chance to move up significantly on the final day of competition.
There will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. EST with Washington starting on the 12th hole with Sadena Parks. Live scoring for the event is available on GoHuskies.com.
