Husky Gymnasts Fall at Boise State

Boise, ID - The 11th-ranked Washington women's gymnastics team (5-3) lost a dual-meet at Boise State, 195.450 to 194.875. The Huskies lost the meet despite winning all four event titles and the all-around crown.
Washington was led by junior Carly Dockendorf, who finished first on floor (9.925) and captured the all-around with a combined score of 39.450. The meet marked the fourth consecutive outing that Dockendorf has finished first on floor exercise.
Saturday Dockendorf will compete with the Husky track team at Boise State. She will compete on pole vault during an indoor meet.
Emily Pritchard, who is ranked first in the nation on uneven bars, won her fourth title in that event this year. Pritchard score 9.950 to win bars and also took first place on vault with a score of 9.875.
Molly Seaman and Kelly McDonald completed the Husky sweep by sharing top honors on beam with a 9.925. The score equaled her career best mark on the event.
Washington's chances to win the meet ended on floor exercise where they scored a season-low 48.300. The Huskies were forced to count a score of 9.100 when B.J. Das was not able to complete her routine due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Washington returns home next Friday to host Arizona State at 7 p.m. in Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
