
Washington Has A Problem With Houston

HOUSTON (AP) - Andre Owens scored 22 points and Anwar Ferguson nearly had a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks as Houston beat Washington 79-64 Saturday night.
Owens was 4-of-10 on 3-point shots and added five assists and six steals.
The Cougars (3-3) jumped to an early lead and never trailed. They were up 42-31 at halftime after shooting 57 percent from the floor. Washington (3-3) hit just 32 percent in the half.
Brandon Roy led Washington with 19 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Bobby Jones added 11 points and 10 boards for the Huskies.
Houston also got 13 points from Marcus Oliver.
