"We talked about how important it was to make a run in February. This was
exactly the outcome we were looking for. We were more physical than we have
been. We played at a different level than we have been. We also worked hard
to share the basketball. We started hot and responded well when UCLA got
close.
"We like to shoot the three. We do a good job of it. I'll take 7-of-28. We could shoot better, but I'll take it.
"We rebounded hard today. We had great momentum to start the game, on both ends of the floor. We set the tempo. We knew UCLA was going to climb back in with their pressure defense."

"We talked about making a push in the second half of the Pac-10 season. Now
we need to get back home and build on this. We have important games against
the Arizona schools next weekend.
"We focused all week on being ready to play, being physical and playing hard right from the start. We worked on that all week. We knew we had to be ready to play."
