CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Megan Franza had 19 points and six assists as No. 23 Washington beat Oregon State 77-70 Thursday night for its fifth straight win.
Giuliana Mendiola added 13 points for Washington (16-6 overall, 9-3 Pac-10), which remained tied for first place in the conference.
Felicia Ragland scored 23 points for Oregon State (11-11, 3-9), which dropped its sixth straight and fourth in a row after leading at halftime.
Washington took control with a 12-0 run midway through the second half and took a 57-48 lead on a 3-pointer by Jill Pimley with 12:49 remaining.
In the first half, the Beavers shot 60 percent from the field while the Huskies shot 50 percent.
In the second half, Oregon State shot 7-for-30 from the field.
Trailing 19-15 with 11:10 left in the first half, Oregon State held the Huskies scoreless for five minutes and used a 10-0 run to build a 25-19 lead.
Washington countered with two 3-pointers by Franza and another 3 by Loree Payne. Payne and Andrea Lalum each finished with 10 points, while Lalum added 10 rebounds.
Ericka Cook had 17 points and 13 rebounds for Oregon State. Nicole Funn added 14 points.
Ragland and Cook combined for 28 points in the first half but made only two field goals in the second.
