Postgame quotes
Washington head coach June Daugherty
"(Jamie) Craighead really got going from long range. Oregon did a good job of stretching our defense. There were times when we got there and times when we didn't. They stretched our defense.
"We cut it to seven points late in the second half but it wasn't good enough. Credit Oregon's shooters and how well they did with the shot clock going down.
"There are two things that are usually our bright spots, shooting and rebounding. Tonight they were our achille's heel. In the first half we were a step slow. We were not doing a good job of keeping them off the boards."
Junior Emily Autrey
"It's embarrassing when you think about how many times they've won. We didn't show up with intensity. They were hot but it's all a matter of being there on defense. We gave them lots of open looks and they hit them. Our offense was rushed. We were forcing things. We got some good shots but could have used a few more. It's a matter of being focused and poised. We need to put this game behind us now and focus on Oregon State.
