With Washington's 85-83 win over Stanford, the Huskies captured their 500th win all-time, becoming only the second Pac-10 school to do so. Stanford was the first.

The Huskies have won two in a row over Stanford. They previously defeated the Cardinal in Palo Alto last year, 74-62.

Washington beat its first ranked opponent this season. Stanford was ranked No. 24 in the nation. The Huskies were 0-2 in losses to UCLA and Arizona.

The Huskies 85 points were the second most scored by Washington over Stanford. The previous mark was set in 1986 when they beat the Cardinals 86-59.

Washington's 10 turnovers were a season low, with Stanford managing only four steals, also an opponent season low.

Megan Franza's 33 points, two shy of her career high, was her second 30+ game of the season. She also tied her season-high for 3-pt field goals made with 5.

Freshman Loree Payne connected on 8-15 shooting, with 25 points. She has scored in double digits in every game this season.

Stanford lost their first game this season when five players scored in double digits. They are now 1-1.

Stanford freshman Jamie Carey had a career high in 3-point field goals made. She hit on 7 of her 8 attempts and led the team with 25 points.
