Volleyball Beats Oregon State, 3-1

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Junior Emily Seacat posted career highs in kills and service aces Saturday night to lead the Washington volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Oregon State at Gill Coliseum. Game scores were 15-10, 15-5, 14-16, 15-11.
With the victory, the Huskies completed a weekend sweep of the Oregon schools and improved to 6-6 on the season, 2-2 in the Pac-10. OSU fell to 7-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
Seacat, from Ridgefield, Wash., led all players with 21 kills and six service aces. He made only two hitting errors and hit .452 for the match. Senior Kristina Laffling added 20 kills and 17 digs and Allison Richardson posted 16 kills.
Oregon State was led by 15 kills from Sarah Bjeldanes.
The Huskies return to Seattle this week to face UCLA and USC Thursday and Friday.
