The only view more impressive than the landscape is the 14 Women’s College World Series appearances displayed on the left field wall. This includes a 2009 National Championship title highlighting the success of the Husky softball program.
Husky Softball Stadium frequently sells out. To address the large demand for tickets, there is standing room only seating located in the Husky Stadium stands.
The Husky Softball Stadium field is made of dirt and grass with only a small stretch of turf along the backstop and in front of the dugouts. Despite the challenges of the Seattle climate, the hard work of the UW grounds crew always ensures a high-quality playing surface.
