Jonathan Coopersmith

Jonathan Coopersmith is in his second season as a volunteer assistant working with the Husky distance runners.
Coopersmith was a member of the cross country and track teams at Shippensburg University from 2004-06. He graduated from Grove City College in 2010 and then transitioned into coaching. As an assistant coach at Westminster College at the D-III level from 2011-12, he helped Westminster win its first ever men's track conference title.
From 2013-15, Coopersmith coached track and cross country at Albermarle High School and The Covenant School in Charlottesville, Va. He returned to the college ranks in 2015-16 as a volunteer assistant at the University of Virginia where the women's cross country squad won its first ACC title since 1982.
Coopersmith is currently pursuing a degree in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
