Laryssa Myers was named Multimedia Designer for Washington womenโs basketball following the 2023-24 season.
She enters her second season with the program, supporting recruiting efforts, branding, internal operations, and social media content for the team. Previously, Myers served as creative video associate for Iowa State womenโs basketball, and simultaneously worked with the swimming and diving, womenโs golf, football, and cross country programs. Her previous experience includes roles in social media, video, and photography with the Missoula PaddleHeads, TCU Athletics Digital Brand, and TCU Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). She has also worked as a freelancer with several brands, teams, and individuals.
Myers earned a bachelor's degree in strategic communication with a minor in film and media studies from Texas Christian University in May 2023. Before attending TCU, she played one year of D-II collegiate volleyball.
On April 17, 2023, Myers completed the 127th Boston Marathon, raising over $10,000 for the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation.
Myers grew up in Colorado and is the daughter of Mike and Robyn and has two brothers, Christian and Daryl, and a sister-in-law, Lauren.
