Played in the No. 1 spot for the first time in all seven matches along with Shayne McPherson ... the pair went 4-3 overall ... went 3-0 in the season opening tourney in Arizona, including a big win over Arizona's No. 1 team of Burling/Hallaran, 21-17, 21-19 ... went 1-3 at the Pac-12 South Invitational, falling to the top teams from Cal, Stanford, and UCLA, and beating Utah's No. 1 team of Robinson/Koerber.
