2014-15 (Track): Successful first season saw her make the 800-meters final at the Pac-12 Championships and advance to the NCAA West Preliminary Championships โฆ at her first Pac-12 meet in Los Angeles, finished ninth in the 800-meters with a time of 2:09.65 in the finals, and also ran on the 4x400m relay that took eighth in 3:41.80 โฆ qualified for West Prelims in Austin, finishing 42nd overall in the 800m in 2:12.70 โฆ top 800-meters time of 2:09.56 came at the Mt. High School and Personal: Born in Bremerton, Washington โฆ parents are Marcia and Glen Christen โฆ has a twin brother, Keith, and an older sister, Emma โฆ both parents attended UW as did three of her grandparents, and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins โฆ her father and grandmother were nationally ranked badminton players and great grandmother was a state tennis champion in 1926-30 โฆ one of the top mid-distance runners in the nation during her senior season, ranking fifth nationally at 800-meters and placing fourth in the 800m final at the U.S. Junior Championships in Eugene at Hayward Field โฆ set her 800m PR of 2:05.64 in the 2014 Washington 4A state final, which broke the previous meet record by 2.5 seconds despite just earning second-place behind the fastest runner in the high school ranks โฆ finished third at the 2014 Brooks PR Invite with an 800-meters time of 2:06.35 โฆ also was second at state her senior season in the 1,600-meters with a PR of 4:49.43 โฆ ranked sixth nationally indoors in the 800m, running 2:10.41 in the Dempsey at the UW Invitational โฆ as a junior, took second at the 2013 4A state meet in the 800-meters, and fourth in the 1,600-meters โฆ collected five individual Narrows League titles on the track over her career โฆ also was third at state in the 800-meters and fifth at 3,200-meters as a sophomore in 2010 โฆ qualified for state on the 4x400m relay from 2012-14, taking third her senior year โฆ placed in the top-15 at the Washington 4A state cross country championships as a sophomore, junior, and senior, including a ninth-place finish in 2013 and a sixth-place finish in 2012 โฆ the 2013 Narrows League cross country champion โฆ graduated with a 3.974 GPA โฆ also considered Stanford and Wisconsin.
