2025 Cross Country: Raced in the top-five at every meet for the Dawgs in the fall โฆ at Big Tens, finished third on the team and 30th overall in 24:10, improving on his 2024 finish by 67 places โฆ placed 52nd at NCAA West Regionals, fifth on the squad โฆ third on the team at the Wisconsin Invitational, placing 137th overall in 24:46 โฆ also third among Huskies at the season-opening Loyola Lakefront Invite in 39th-place โฆ a Fall Academic All-Big Ten selection.
2025 Outdoor Track: A strong first season running the steeplechase, scoring at the Big Ten Championships and placing top-25 at West Prelims โฆ at his first Big Ten Championships, took seventh in the steeple in 8:47.20 โฆ advanced to NCAA West Prelims in College Station and took 23rd overall in a time of 8:54.61 โฆ seasonโs best steeplechase time of 8:43.26 run at the Mt. SAC Relays, taking second overall โฆ won the steeplechase at the OSU High Performance Meet in 8:55.30 โฆ won his section of the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invite in 3:46.11 โฆ earned Spring Academic All-Big Ten honors โฆ also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction.
2025 Indoor Track: Competed unattached at four meets in the mile and 3,000m โฆ ran a 3,000m PR of 8:00.83 at the Husky Classic unattached โฆ lowered his mile PR to 4:03.80 at the UW Invitational.
2024 Cross Country: Raced three times during the fall, including at UWโs first trip to the Big Ten Championships โฆ at Big Tens, placed 97th overall in 24:23, the 10th Husky finisher โฆ was the No. 6 Husky at Pre-Nationals, finishing 193rd overall โฆ ran in the open race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invite, taking 16th overall โฆ named to the Fall Academic All-Big Ten Team.
2024 Track: Redshirted the season, competing five times unattached โฆ raced once outdoors, running the 1,500m in 3:49.66 at the Portland Track Festival โฆ indoors, had a best mile time of 4:09.75 at the UW Invitational โฆ first race was at the UW Preview, racing the 1,000m in 2:27.42.

High School and Personal: Born in Tacoma, Wash. โฆ parents are Kathryn and Scott Briggs โฆ has one younger sister, Saraya โฆ as a senior, won the Washington 4A State title at 1,600-meters, posting a winning time of 4:13.19, a personal-best โฆ his junior year in 2022, was third at state in the 800-meters and fourth in the 1,600-meters โฆ was the 4A State Cross Country runner-up as a senior in the fall of 2022, improving upon a 14th-place finish as a junior โฆ a state qualifier in DECA.
