Washington continued its run as one of the most consistent programs in the country, finishing with a record of 12-4 and advancing to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season and third time under head coach Jamie Clark.
It was the program's fifth consecutive season with at least 12 wins and 11th straight winning season overall.

Washington earned the No 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament, its 8th tournament appearance in the last nine seasons – all under head coach Jamie Clark. The program now has 27 overall appearances in the Tournament. The Huskies did not concede through their first two Tournament matches, defeating both Grand Canyon and Missouri State by scores of 2-0 to advance to the Elite 8.

The Huskies racked up plenty of individual awards for the 2020 season, led by Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year Charlie Ostrem, who led the conference and was second in the country with his 11 assists. He was also named a Third Team All-American.
Dylan Teves was named First Team All-American and a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist, which is the highest individual honor in collegiate soccer.
Ostrem, Teves and Christian Soto were all named First Team All-Pac-12 and eight total Washington players were named the the All-Pac-12 teams.
Additionally, head coach Jamie Clark was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year for the second straight season and third time overall in his career at UW.
