Olivia Van der Jagt | Kent, Washington
A native of Kent, Washington, Olivia Van der Jagt started the very first game of her collegiate career and has gone on to be a focal point in Washington offense and defense for four years. She has started over 50 games already in her career, one of 50 Huskies ever to reach that mark. Olivia has shown herself to be more than capable offensively: as a sophomore, she scored six goals and had the third-longest point streak in Washington history.
This season, Van der Jagt has started all 12 games and played over 1100 minutes. She has sat for just two minutes total over Washington's last ten games, playing every single minute in seven straight games. Van der Jagt has recorded a career-best three assists this season. That includes her first-ever multi-assist game, helping Washington beat Colorado 2-1 with assists on both Husky goals.
After graduating with her psychology degree, Olivia plans to go to nursing school and pursue playing soccer professionally. She has twice earned honors from the Pac-12 for her academic excellence, earning All-Academic honors in 2018 and Academic Honor Roll in 2019.
