Mireya Grey | Seattle, Washington
A Seattle native, Mireya Grey has brought a flair to the Huskies on and off the field. Mireya has shined at Washington and beyond, having won a national championship with Seattle Sounders Women and played in the 2019 World Cup. She has made 43 appearances as a Husky, with at least two points in each of her last two years. In 2018, Grey scored her first career goal, the gamewinner against Oregon. Last year, she chipped in assists against #2 North Carolina and on the road at Calp Poly.
Mireya will be graduating with a degree in sociology and a double minor in Spanish and entrepreneurship. She hopes to play professional soccer and do ministry work with her church after her Husky career comes to a close. Mireya has been heavily involved in her community: she has worked as a soccer coach with the Seattle Academy as well as done volunteer work with Athletes in Action and Orphan Relief and Rescue. She has been an active part of Washington’s Black Student-Athlete Association as well.
