Summer Yates | Pasco, Wash.
An impact player from the moment she stepped on campus, from Pasco, Washington, few Huskies have matched the offensive impact of Summer Yates. Yates has started over 60 games, scored 19 career goals, recorded 13 assists, and earned 51 career points, which is tied for 10th in program history. Last year, Yates was named a second-team All-American, the first for UW since 2004. A two-time All Pac-12 selection, Summer has also recorded 8 game-winning goals. A member of the USA 2020 U-20 CONCACAF Championship squad, Yates will be returning next fall for the Dawgs.
After her time at UW, Summer plans to pursue a professional soccer career and would like to teach and coach in the future. Majoring in Education, Communities, and Organizations, Summer has been named to the Dean’s List for three quarters.
