Makena Carr | Newcastle, Washington
A part of the Communication Honors program, Carr has been named to the Dean’s List for five quarters as well as being honored as the SAAS Student of the quarter this spring. Last season, Carr earned a spot on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll. After her time at UW, Makena will be attending flight school pursuing a career as a commercial pilot. Off the field, Carr has spent time coaching at Seattle Celtic FC as well as volunteering at several organizations including the Special Olympics, Read Across America and other soccer clinics.
