- Coached 28 players who have been drafted or selected as Homegrown pick by MLS clubs
- Won 12-plus matches in 11 of 12 seasons at Washington
- Amassed 200 career wins including 161 with the Huskies
- Led UW to four NCAA Quarterfinal appearances, including three straight (2013, ‘19, ’20, '21)
- Also was head coach at Creighton and Harvard, guiding team to NCAA Tournament every season
- Drafted in the second round of the MLS Draft and played with the San Jose Earthquakes
- Twice named NSCAA All-America (2nd Team -1997; First Team - 1998) as a collegiate player
MARK COLLINGS
ASSISTANT COACH
- Joined Washington staff in July 2021
- Part of UW staff named 2022 United Soccer Coaches Far West Coaching Staff of the Year
- Spent 14 seasons as head coach of Seattle Pacific University, going 129-68-32 over that time
- Five NCAA DII Tournament appearances (2011, ‘12, ’13, ‘14, ’15)
- Won two GNAC Championships
- Three-time GNAC Coach of the Year (2010, ‘14, ’15)
- Set school record with 13 straight wins and a 15-match unbeaten streak
- All 11 starters in 2014 were named to All-Conference teams
- Co-captain of Seattle Pacific as a player, leading team to the NCAA DII Final Four in 1998
RICHARD REECE
ASSISTANT COACH
- Longest serving coach on staff, completing his 18th season at UW in 2022
- Part of UW staff named 2019 and 2022 United Soccer Coaches Far West Coaching Staff of the Year
- Oversees the UW defense and goalkeeping
- Developed five Husky goalkeepers who have played in the MLS: Chris Eylander, Spencer Richey, Ryan Herman, Auden Schidler and Ryan Hawkins
- Also developed 13 defenders who have played in the MLS
- Coached two Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honorees: Ethan Bartlow (2019) and Ryan Sailor (2021)
- Holds numerous coaching licenses including the prestigous UEFA “A”. Also holds USSF “A”, USSF National Goalkeeping license, USSF Youth license, NSCC Premier Diploma, NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma and NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma
PEDRO MILLAN
VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH
- In addition to his role at UW, Millan has served as the program director for PacNW since 2017
- Also coached with Nuevo Boadilla FC (2012-15), O'Dea High School (2009-11) and served as a camp director with Real Madrid FC Foundation and Seattle Sounders FC
- Professionally, Millan played with UCV, Galicia FC, Deportivo Chacao, Comunidad Griega and Maritimo FC in Venezuela
