Husky Soccer Stadium, a soccer-only facility that opened in 1997, is located adjacent to Lake Washington as part of Washington’s athletic village and ranks among the top in the nation for soccer attendance.
The Huskies broke the single-match attendance record in 2022 when they hosted Seattle U for the WAC/101 Club Cup on Sept. 20. A record 3,876 people showed up for the match between the two Seattle teams.
The previous record was for the Quarterfinal matchup against Saint Louis on Dec. 4, 2021. A then-record crowd of 3,629 watched the Huskies advance to their first-ever College Cup appearance.
With comfortable seating and large capacity, the soccer stadium has been chosen to host the NCAA postseason play and has been used as a practice facility for international soccer teams including powerhouses Celtic and Barcelona. The site has also welcomed numerous Major League Soccer and national teams, including U.S., Canada and Honduras.
The 72 x 120 yard grass playing surface provides the Husky men’s and women’s program with a premier playing field on a year-round basis.
Since opening in 1997, the Huskies have posted a 178-62-19 overall record at Husky Soccer Stadium, winning at least eight matches in 12 seasons including a 10-1-2 mark in 2013.
