Amirah Milloy has grown every year, from a dangerous pinch-runner and bench bat as a freshman to one of Washington's most powerful hitters as a senior. This year, Milloy ranks in the top five in the Pac-12 in conference slugging percentage, with 13 extra-base hits already in Pac-12 play. She has routinely come up strong in the biggest moments and has already set career highs in almost every offensive category.
A graduate, having already earned her communication degree, Milloy continues to provide the Huskies strong play at the plate and on the basepaths. She has a career-best eight steals this year and has not been caught stealing since 2017.
What is your favorite softball memory at UW?
I would say my favorite memory would be making it to the championship series last year. It has always been my ultimate dream to play at the highest level. Although we didn't win, I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.
What message to do you have to the Huskies?
Continue the legacy that each year builds upon. We are a program that prides itself on its culture and the way we all do things. Also, I'd like to say that I absolutely love my teammates and friends. The greatest part about being at Washington has been the lifelong friends I've made along the way.
