What are some of your favorite memories at UW?
Scoring my first collegiate goal against Arizona State my freshmen year and our trip to Japan this spring.
How have you grown while at UW?
I've grown a lot during my time here. I came in very uncomfortable and out of my element and grew to call UW home. I have learned to adapt to new situations quicker and easier and to seek opportunities that challenged me. I've also learned how to deal with adversity: I had not experienced many set backs in my life preceding college. I now feel more equipped to "fail forward" and to learn from my mistakes and work hard to succeed.
Do you have any message for the coaching staff and team?
I just want to thank my coaches for investing in me as a student-athlete, teaching me how to compete at the highest level, and having faith in my ability. I also want to thank my teammates (even the ones who were 5th years when I was a freshmen) for being a second family and making UW so welcoming.
What are your plans after graduating?
After graduating I hope to travel, pursue a career in finance, and keep having fun with soccer!
