Shimer has put together two shutout streaks of over 400 minutes this year as she has been dominant in goal for Washington. The senior had a 515:54-minute shutout streak, the longest since 1991 for the Huskies, then put together a 400-minute shutout streak immediately after allowing a goal to #13 Cal. The winner of the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the week ending September 10, Shimer has matched the all-time Husky record for shutouts in a season with ten and has a 0.77 GAA this season, the third-lowest in a single season in Husky history behind only Hope Solo. Shimer was also named the team's Most Inspirational Player in 2015.
