What is it like to play in the Pac-12 conference?
Amazing experience – playing against the best players in the country day in, day out, provided with so much by the school, and able to get a world class education long the way
What is your favorite thing about living in Seattle?
There is nothing better than a summer in Seattle being on the lake in the perfect weather
What does it feel like to play at Husky Soccer Stadium?
Couldn’t imagine a better place especially when the lights come on. Big crowd for our rivalry game against Seattle U never disappoints and playing under the lights in the rain is my favorite thing.
What is something the coaching staff has taught you off the field?
Don’t be shy to go after what you want off the field. Soccer will not last forever and it is important to work hard in school and find your passions off the field.
What are your favorite things to do in the summer in Seattle?
Hang out on Montlake Cut, go out on friend’s boats or up to cabins, and golf
What are some of your earliest memories of playing soccer?
Playing when I was 5 with my best friends and dad as the coach every Saturday morning with orange slices for halftime.
Who is your biggest inspiration(s) in why you play soccer? Please explain.
Grew up the youngest in a soccer family and was always competing. Seeing the success of my dad, brother, and sister on the soccer field inspired me to be like them and work hard to get there
What do you love most about playing soccer?
Working together as a team for a common goal. Internally pushing myself to keep grinding and having everyone around you push each other makes me love the sport. The game is defined by such small margins that every goal or save is so special.
Who were your favorite players growing up? Please explain why.
Totti -- Loved the loyalty to Roma and especially the flow
Carlos Puyol -- Played with so much passion
Can you talk about some of the experiences that have been opened up to you through the sport and how they have changed your life?
The chance to compete at the highest level with a team is one of the most rewarding things you can do. No matter how hard things can get, you know the whole team has your back and you have theirs.
