Agents
Agents are expected to adhere to all University of Washington, NCAA and professional league player association regulations pertaining to recruiting student-athletes at the University of Washington. An overview of our process can be found in the Athlete Agent Brochure. 
Agents are required to contact the ICA Compliance Office prior to any contact with a UW student-athlete. Failure to comply with this policy, and any others listed, may result in revocation of an agent's registration with the University, as well as being reported to the State of Washington, the NFLPA or other applicable association, and any other interested party.
UW Athletics does not want to create barriers between our student-athletes, agents and financial advisors. In order to allow our student-athletes to focus on their academics and amateur athletic pursuits, we require our student-athletes and those wanting to represent them to follow these policies and associated NCAA legislation. UW will provide agent education to student-athletes on an annual basis and provide education and assistance with the agent selection process.
Per Washington State's Uniform Athlete Agents Act, all Agents requesting access to any UW student-athlete must register or renew with the University of Washington by completing the following form: UW Agent Registration.
- All other employees associated with an agent (i.e., runners) who assist in the recruitment of UW student-athletes must be included on the registration form.
- It is the expectation that only registered agents personally contact our student-athletes, in lieu of using runners or other personnel.
