SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- No. 17 Washington continues with the spring season this week Lamkin San Diego Classic at the San Diego Country Club, hosted by the Aztecs of San Diego State.
The tournament is the two-day, 54-hole competition that begins Monday, March 9 with 36 holes. It will be contested on the par-72 course at the San Diego Country Club that will play 7,033 yards.
The 17th-ranked Huskies are the top-ranked team in the field that also includes ranked teams, No. 24 North Carolina, No. 27 San Diego State and No. 29 New Mexico. The rest of the field is Arizona, BYU, Cal State San Marcos, Louisiana Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Diego, UC Riverside and UC San Diego.
The Huskies will have a familiar top-three players in the lineup with No. 1-ranked Cheng-Tsung Pan leading the way after his individual win at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate last week. He'll be followed by Corey Pereira and Jonathan Sanders who are also ranked in the top-150 individually. Rounding out the Husky lineup will be freshman Jordan Lu and sophomore Kevin Kwon.
Pan picked up his sixth career victory last week to tie Chris Williams for the school record. He can set a new mark this week in San Diego as he continues his brilliant season that has only one finish outside the top-three all year.

Chris Babcock, Frank Garber, Greg Gildea, Tyler Salsbury and Spencer Weiss will play the Hi Valley Country Club that measures 7,064 yards and is a par 72.
