AS A SOPHOMORE (2002): One of six Huskies to start in right field ... led the contingent with 30 starts, including the last nine games of the season ... also started three times in centerfield, while coming in as a pinch runner and pinch hitter in 14 other games ... had a hit in her first at-bat of the season against Long Beach State, later coming around to score on a double by Amanda Oleson ... pinch ran for Courtney Jeffries in a 6-4 win over Florida State, coming through with the game-winning run in the sixth inning ... had a RBI and scored a run on February 15 against Tennessee-Chattanooga ... made her first career start, playing in center field at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in the team’s first meeting with Fresno State ... also started in centerfield in a win over Boston University (2/23), before starting in right field on March 1 at the Red Desert Classic ... scored three of the team’s 15 runs against UC Santa Barbara ... 1-for-1 with two walks and a RBI versus the Gauchos ... shined at the plate at the Kia Klassic, batting .385 (5-for-13) with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs ... came through with a clutch single, driving in two runs in the bottom of the sixth, as UW edged Fresno State, 5-4 ... had two hits in a game versus Texas Tech (3/15) and Santa Clara (3/24) ... first career Pac-10 hit came during a 2-for-2 performance at home against Oregon State on April 20 ... her RBI single in the fourth inning broke up the 0-0 game with the Beavers ... 1-for-3 with a run scored at California ... sparked a five-run rally with a two-out single in the fifth inning of UW’s come-from-behind win against Oregon on May 4 ... beat out an infield hit to shortstop, as the Huskies scored four runs in the inning to erase a two-run deficit against Arizona State on May 10 ... made a pair of outstanding grabs in the outfield in victories over Oregon and Arizona.
AS A FRESHMAN (2001): Came to fall practice as a middle infielder before moving to the outfield and later to the pitching circle ... also saw playing time as a pinch runner ... pitched a total of 14.2 innings in eight games for the Huskies…. appeared in 22 games overall … tallied four runs and one hit in seven at-bats for UW ... first collegiate appearance was February 9 versus New Mexico State, getting a hit, scoring a run and tallying a putout against the Lobos … scored the game-winning run in the team’s come-from-behind victory over Maryland on February 16 ... also scored a run against Georgia (2/11) and UCLA (5/2) ... saw first action in the circle on March 15, versus Texas, pitching four innings, notching four strikeouts and tallying two assists … recorded eight total strikeouts in her eight pitching outings ... held No. 2 UCLA to a pair of hits and no runs in two innings of work on April 14 ... made her only postseason appearance in the regional final with Oklahoma, pitching an inning in relief.
HIGH SCHOOL: A nine-time letterwinner at University High School in softball, soccer and basketball ... University did not offer softball her freshman season ... three-time first team All-Greater Spokane League pick as both a shortstop and pitcher ... team won three league titles, won its region twice and finished as high as fifth at the Washington Class 4A State Champ-ionships ... served as team captain both her junior and senior seasons ... played summer ball for three different teams, including the Snohomish County Mer-chants, the Maddness Magic and the Spokane Smoke ... placed 18th with the Merchants at the 2000 ASA Nationals.
