Kelli Kamimura makes the move from player to undergraduate coach this season as she assists Mary Lou Mulflur in the supervision of the Husky program. Kamimura finished her Husky career in 2002 as the most decorated golfer in Washington history.
Twice during her career, as a freshman and junior, she was named to the NGCA All-America team. Kamimura set the UW 54-hole scoring record with a 209 she posted as a junior.
Kamimura finished her career with four event championships, the most in UW history. She also topped the career list for top-10 finishes with 20 and owned the single-season stroke average mark of 74.3 she set in 2001. All four of Kamimura's annual stroke averages ranks among the top 12 in UW history.
During her junior season, she finished third at the Pac-10 Championships, the best finish ever by a Husky. That same season she finished eighth at the NCAA West Regional. Kamimura earned all-Pac-10 honors as a freshman, junior and senior.
