Before Washington and Personal: Born in Bangkok, Thailand ... parents are Surin (mother) and Sompol (father) Saengsuwarn ... older brother Sratha played tennis for Princeton, graduating in 2007 ... won a silver medal in the team competition at the National Student Games in 2008 ... was the boys singles Gold Medalist at the 2007 Bangkok Region High School Championships as well as the doubles runner-up ... took the bronze medal in doubles at the 2007 Thailand National Youth Sports Championships ... competed in three national-level junior circuit events, taking doubles runner-up honors twice ... doubles silver medalist in the boys-18 high school championships in 2006 ... attended Tennis Pro Serve International academy, coached by Dominik Guido Utzinger ... also played basketball and soccer in high school ... graduated with a 3.63 grade point average.
