PERSONAL
Born November 23, 1977, in Los Angeles ... parents are Richard and Dorothy Allmon ... has an older brother, Scott ... originally attended the University of Alabama (1996-97) ... went to a junior college in 1997-98, but did not compete in volleyball ... majoring in history.
WASHINGTON
1999 (Senior): One of two seniors on the team, Allmon will contend for a starting spot at one of the swing positions ... brings a versatile, all-around game to the team.
1998 (Junior): Played in 19 matches and 42 games in her first season at Washington ... saw much of her court time during the second half of the season, when she became a part-time starter at one swing hitter position . . . top match came Oct. 9 vs. Oregon when she recorded seven kills with no errors on 15 swings (.467) ... also set season highs for aces (two) and blocks (three) in that match ... had seven kills and two errors on 16 attempts in three-game win over Georgia ... also had seven kills in the five-game win at Washington State ... played well at UCLA, recording season-high nine digs and three blocks.
UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA
Played two seasons at Alabama (1995-96) ... named the team's defensive MVP in 1996 ... led the team in kills with 408 that year ... her .221 hitting percentage was second on the team ... also led the team with 25 aces and with 342 digs ... played in 128 of the Tide's 129 games in 1996, the most on the team ... her kills and digs totals were both the ninth-highest season totals in Crimson Tide history ... a Dean's List student at Alabama.
