"There is no such thing as luck; Luck is when preparation meets opportunity."
Thanksgiving is over, which means that Christmas is just around the corner. For us, though, the coming of Christmas means the upcoming season is almost here!
With the addition of our new coaches, our team is looking better than ever! Every day in the gym is just one more opportunity for us to get better and everyone is taking full advantage.
The past couple of weeks have been intense - physically, and mentally. Everyone has been taking midterms, writing papers, doing projects, and finals are just around the corner. We have a full workload, yet at practice you would hardly even notice. The energy level in the gym is extremely encouraging as we continue to grow. When I look around the gym, I see a completely new team. We have our heads up and keep them up day after day. The hard work and dedication shows not only on the events but in conditioning and lifting as well. We are striving for the excellence we know we can achieve!
CONFIDENCE! Confidence is one of the things we were lacking last year but this is exactly what we have. When I look around the gym, I see confidence in the eyes of all the girls. We are believing in ourselves, each other, as well as our talent and it is showing in our gymnastics. Confidence leads to consistancy, which is a goal we all hope to reach! Personally, I thank the coaching staff. Their support and encouragment has been amazing!
Dawg Fans get ready... Cause here we come!
Just a reminder... Our intrasquad is this coming Sunday at 2pm! I hope to see all of your smiling faces in our stands, cheering us on!
