WOW. That is one word that describes this season so far.
We are in the final stretch of our competitive season (and school). We have worked so hard not only in the gym. but in academics as well. EVERYTHING is paying off. We had six gymnasts this year named to the All Pac-10 Academic List: Kelly Gilbert, Tori Quandt, Darcee Schiller, Nikki Waiss, Kristen Omori, and Natalie Gillan.
Last week was Pac-10's and everyone proved just how much we have improved. Going into the meet, we were seeded sixth, and not to our surprise, we finished fifth. Ashley Houghting shared the Pac-10 vault title and was named to the All-Pac-10 team.
We head to Regionals this weekend on top of our game. Every meet this season has been practice to get ready for the postseason. We hope that all of our hard work will shine through on Saturday night! We hope for the best and hope that we will have all of your support!
We train together, we work together, we learn together, and we WIN together!
