High School: Born March 16, 1982 ... parents are Tammy, a school principal; and David, a teacher ... has a younger brother, Evan ... was voted all-league her freshman year, as her team placed fourth at the Class 4A state meet... helped her team to a third-place finish at the Class 4A state meet as a sophomore... lettered in cross country and track all four years... served as captain her junior and senior seasons... ran in the 4x400 at the Junior Olympic Nationals in 1995... also ran in the 5000m at the Foot Locker Regional in 1996... made the honor roll throughout high school... interested in a career in physical therapy.
