2001 (Junior): Led the all-freshman varsity four to a gold medal at the NCAA Championships, the third year in a row UW won the event ... joined the varsity four as coxswain just one week prior to the national championships ... won a gold medal at the Pac-10 Championships, also in the varsity four ... also collected victories with the varsity four in the Windermere Cup and the Washington State dual.
Personal: Daughter of Jyulan Chen and Ray Barber ... has one younger brother, Ruben (13) and a younger sister, Regina (19), who is a junior at Western Washington.
