Personal: Daughter of Linda and Robert Helsell ... mother attended Skidmore and father attended Dartmouth ... has an older brother, Spencer (31), who attends UW medical school ... two older sisters, Ingrid (36) and Tina (37), who both graduated from Stanford.
I chose Washington because: Because Seattle is a beautiful city and the rowing program at UW is exceptional.
The best thing about Seattle is: You are surrounded by mountains and water.
The best thing about UW is: The campus.
