I chose Washington because: There is a great biology program at UW.
The best thing about Seattle is: We are surrounded by water.
Favorite Class: Entomology - After this class, I couldn't stop talking about how great insects were.
My best race was: Winning the varsity-four at Windermere in 2004; It was the biggest rush, we just creamed the competition. The weather was great and I didn't freeze after being thrown in.
After I graduate, I plan to: Go to graduate school if someone would take me.
If I could tell my incoming teammates one thing, it would be: Take things one day at a time and by the end of the year, you will have really gone places.
