All-American cross country runner at Boise State in her second year at Washington after transferring. 2000 (cross country): Competed in three meets for the Huskies... Was the top UW finisher at the BYU Invitational, taking fourth overall with a time of 17:40 in the 5,000-meter race... Also finished fourth at the Sundodger Invitational and 39th at the Stanford Invitational before missing the rest of the season due to illness and injury... 1999-2000: Did not compete during the track and field season in order to red-shirt and preserve a year of eligibility... During the cross country season, was runner-up at the Sundodger Invitational... Placed eighth at the Pac-10 Championships and ninth at the NCAA West Regional... Finished 113th at the NCAA Championships, helping the Huskies to a 13-place team performance... 1997-99 (Boise State): Earned All-America honors with a 19th-place finish at the 1998 NCAA cross country championships... Won the individual crown at the 1997 Big West Conference cross country championships, leading the Broncos to the team title... Also captured conference titles in the 5,000- and 10,000-meter events...
