Versatile athlete who has competed in 13 different individual events during his Husky career.
1998-99: Placed sixth in the decathlon (6,444) at the Pac-10 championships ... Ranked 19th nationally, but did not earn an NCAA invitation ... Finished 16th in the long jump (21-8 1/4) at the Pac-10 meet ... Boasted the team's top long jump (24-3 1/2) and triple jump (46-1 1/4) marks for the season ... Posted an NCAA provisional decathlon qualifying mark (7,213) on April 1-2 in Davis, Calif. ... His score of 7,213 is the fifth-highest decathlon total in Husky history.
1997-98: Sat out the 1998 campaign as a red-shirt in order to train for future decathlon competition.
1996-97: Competed in five events during the 1997 campaign, including the 200 meters, 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump ... UW's top triple jumper with a personal-best leap of 47-3.
High School: Two-time prep triple jump champion at Washington state championships, in 1994 and 1995 ... Recorded a fourth-place finish in the high jump, third in the long jump and a third in the 110-meter hurdles in 1994 ... Duvall High School was fourth at state in 1994 ...
