Was a member of the track and field from 1976-1979. Won seven NCAA track and field titles and is one of the only two athletes to win four consecutive NCAA titles in same event; won four NCAA hammer throw titles and was undefeated in collegiate career, winning nearly 40 meets, including four Pac-8/Pac-10 championships.
