Tallman Advances To Round Of 16 At Oregon Amateur

TUALATIN, Ore. - Washington's Brittany Tallman breezed to a 5 & 4 win during first round match play at the Women's Oregon Amateur Championship on Wednesday to advance to the round of 16 at Tualitin Country Club.
Tallman dispatched Chelsey Lind of Oregon State, holding as much as a five hole advantage through 11 holes and ultimately ended up with a 5 & 4 win. Tallman, who will be a senior at UW in the fall, only lost one hole during the day.
Tallman moves on to face Kelsey Morrison, who competes for George Fox University. The two will face of on Thursday, starting around 10:44 a.m.
