Mackenzie 11th At Avnet LPGA Classic

MOBILE, Ala. -- The second round of the Avnet LPGA Classic wrapped up on Friday and UW alum Paige Mackenzie is 11th.
Mackenzie shot a 2-under 70 on Thursday and a 1-under 71 on Friday at Mobile's The Crossings Course to enter Saturday's third round at -3. She is four strokes behind Sandra Gal.
The tournament is just the fourth the LPGA has hosted in the United States this season. Mackenzie's previous best finish was 12th at the Kia Classic at the end of March.
Saturday's third round will be televised by the Golf Channel from 11-1 PT. Mackenzie tees off at 8:42 a.m. PT.
